Meet Alan
I’m Alan Pinel, founder of VCCP.biz. I’m a Los Angeles native, longtime supporter of local businesses, architectural designer, entrepreneur, and someone who believes business relationships should feel personal.
My architecture work has taught me to begin with the same question I bring to merchant services:
What does this person actually need, and how can we create a solution that works for the way they operate?
Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, retail stores, professional offices, nonprofits, and service businesses may all accept payments, but they do not share the same workflows, staffing needs, customers, or goals. That is why I take the time to understand the business before recommending a processor, device, or point-of-sale system.

It also has a personal meaning. AL comes from Alan, and HA comes from Hannah—my wife, partner, and an important part of the story behind VCCP.biz.
Hannah and I share a love of Hawaii and the way the Aloha spirit can make people feel welcomed and cared for. That spirit inspired our promise of Merchant Services with Aloha Soul.

I live in Garvanza and have longstanding connections throughout Northeast Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley. These are communities where I live, dine, shop, volunteer, work, and build relationships.
I have also followed a vegan lifestyle for more than 30 years, which gives me a special appreciation for independent restaurants and values-driven businesses. Whether I’m speaking with a neighborhood restaurant, bar, coffee shop, contractor, retailer, nonprofit, or professional office, I understand that every local business represents someone’s livelihood, reputation, and dream.
